TIP:
 
A)Tip diameter, larger than rod diameter, takes friction & drag off of rod for easier ground penetration.
B)Tapered Shoulder on back side of Tip means no dirt load up for easy removal.
C)With the tip taking all the wear, very little rod wear occurs.
D)Replaceable Threaded Tip
 
Designed for locating sub-surface objects with less effort than the conventional soil or ground probe.
